Terry Roberts - The Artist
Terry Roberts was born in Detroit Michigan in 1950. His Mother, a professional artist herself, influenced her son early on to draw and paint.
But it wasn’t until the mid 1980's that Terry started re-visiting art with pencil sketchings and in 1993 started painting with acrylics. Later Mr. Roberts started with oils.
Terry's paintings are mainly landscapes taken from real life or at times imaginary scenes. His style of painting is loose and at times very impressionistic, but can at times border on realism.
Terry also paints still life's on request and has some in his private collection.
Terry graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors of Arts. He is currently studying under Phil Parks, Professional Artist and Instructor at the Paint Creek Center for the Arts. Terry has been actively painting for 12 years.
Terry's art has been on display at the Paint Creek Center for Arts in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Terry Roberts currently lives in Rochester Hills Michigan with his wife Karen and his Lab Trapper.
